Perhaps you think that your hips are too wide, your hair is not thick enough, or that you just aren’t smart enough. In all honesty, these things shouldn’t get you down, and as hard as it seems to do this, you can actually celebrate your own uniqueness. You wake up on some days feeling that you just don’t look good enough. It’s all part in being human, and this happens to women more often. Knock out negativity whenever you can. Sure, there will always be people who’ll say bad things or talk behind your back, but why should you care? Loving yourself means knowing how great you are and not letting any person, any place, or anything ever get in the way of that. As long as you know that what you’re doing is the right thing and that you’re not hurting anyone along the way, then by all means, go for it and let your true self shine forth. Remember, being gossipy won’t get you votes on popularity. You’ll actually get further if you avoid badmouthing other people.

Staying calm is also another way to love yourself. It’s easy to say that you shouldn’t hold grudges but when you try it, your efforts will actually pay off. The next time someone in your life ticks you off or rubs you the wrong way, keep cool by thinking of something that makes you happy. Dwelling on the bad side of life makes you all the more unproductive. Trust in your own abilities and know that you can still go a long way without stepping on other people. As long as you know just how great a person you are, you’re future is more set that you can ever expect.
