 Stress, unfortunately, is now a fact of life. Undergoing stress takes its toll on your body, physically, mentally and emotionally.
Stress forces your body to tackle these issues by ravishing your body’s energy and leaving you exhausted.
Obviously, suffering from exhaustion is one affect that stress can have on your body, and this can result in many other issues. When suffering from exhaustion, maintain your normal everyday life or even attempting to continue in your chosen profession, is pretty much impossible.
Some symptoms of exhaustion are similar to that of regular flu and minor cases can be treated as you would the flu, with plenty of liquids and bed rest.
The digestive system is often one of the first to fall under the influence of stress. One of the problems that the body may develop when suffering from an extended period of stress, is irritable bowel syndrome.
If you already suffer from irritable bowel syndrome, then suffering from stress will have a negative effect on your condition.
Suffering from restless and sleep deprived nights is another effect that stress can have in the body. This can be a vicious circle in the world of stress as being unable to sleep will increase stress levels.
Headaches and migraines can be brought on thanks to stress and what the body’s ability to cope with these illness are depleted as the body is likely to be suffering from exhaustion.
This effect of stress on the body can be much more severe than it may appear on paper. For those who do not suffer from migraines may find that the initial attack is one of the more detestable effects of stress on the body.
Everyone knows that stress is a detrimental effect on the heart and the whole cardiovascular system. But these effects can be varied and is not solely linked to heart attacks. Heart palpitations and angina is often attributed to stress.
Diabetes is an effect that prolonged stress has on the body. Obviously, there are levels of severity, but stress can worsen diabetes and make it much more of a challenge to live with.
Ulcers are often over looked when considering the effects that stress has upon the body. But ulcers dictate what you can and can’t eat and when severe can limit your daily activities. When inflamed there is a possibility of the ulcers bursting and this can have fatal consequences.
These are only a few of the Effects of Stress on the body; inflammation of skin irritations and certain forms of alopecia can be inflamed through stress and the effects that stress has on a person’s mental well being.
Emotions can run wild when suffering from stress and this can have a negative effect on both your personal and professional life.
